Built on Movement, Fueled by Joy

Where rhythm meets connection, one step at a time

At Lisa’s Dance and Exercise, everything centers on shared movement that brings families closer. We’re not here to rush you through drills or check boxes. Our focus is on creating meaningful moments through rhythm, proper technique, and the kind of instruction that makes every parent and child feel confident on the floor.

Learn Salsa Steps Together

Movement built for bonding and rhythm

Salsa brings parent and child together on the dance floor through structured footwork, easy-to-follow patterns, and music that keeps everyone moving. Each session introduces basic steps, weight transfer, and timing in a relaxed setting where laughter and learning happen side by side. You’ll notice improved coordination, confidence, and connection as both of you grow more comfortable with the rhythm.

FAQ's

What's the difference between On1 and On2 salsa timing?

On1 breaks on the first beat, while On2 starts on the second. Both styles teach the same core movements and partner work, just with different timing.

Most students pick up the basic step and simple turns in three to four weeks. Consistent practice twice a week helps you feel comfortable on the floor faster.

No partner required. You’ll rotate with classmates during lessons, so everyone gets practice leading and following. Singles are always welcome.

Comfortable clothes you can move in and shoes with smooth soles work best. Avoid sneakers with rubber grip, which can catch during turns.

Drop-ins are welcome, but advance registration helps us keep class sizes manageable. Call ahead if you plan to attend your first session.
