Our themed dance classes are part of what makes Lisa’s Dance so magical! Each session (usually 10–12 weeks) features exciting story-based content that brings children’s favorite characters and adventures into the studio.

These fun themes help kids of all ages connect emotionally with the material, build confidence, and fall in love with dance. Many sessions lead up to an optional recital, where dancers can wear adorable themed costumes and shine on stage!

About Our Classes

At Lisa’s Dance & Exercise in Greenacres, we offer fun, inclusive dance classes for all ages and levels. Our goal is to teach technique in a way that builds confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for movement. Whether your child is just starting out or you’re an experienced dancer, our studio is here to support your journey.

Ballet & Tap

Perfect for children as young as 1.5 years old, our ballet and tap classes introduce foundational technique in a playful setting. Younger dancers enjoy freeze dance and themed music, while parents can observe through a window or stay in the room for toddler classes. No-tie shoes required. Optional recital participation includes two dances and fun, age-appropriate costumes.

Hip Hop

Our hip hop classes are high-energy and exciting! Dancers learn today’s most popular moves set to clean, kid-friendly music. With a focus on strength, coordination, and fun, kids build confidence while expressing themselves through upbeat routines, props, and across-the-floor exercises.

Jazz & Acro

This class blends classic jazz dance with acrobatics, focusing on flexibility, strength, and stage presence. Dancers work on center-floor and cross-floor combinations, learning new skills each session. Offered for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students based on age and experience.

Cheerleading

Our Bow to Toe cheerleading class introduces the fundamentals of cheer in a positive, team-focused environment. Kids practice basic tumbling, chants, jumps, and simple stunts while developing body control, balance, and teamwork.

Tumbling & Gymnastics

Tumbling classes help students build coordination and strength through rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and more. These skills support all other forms of dance while providing a fun challenge for active kids.

Contemporary & Modern Dance

A creative outlet for individuals who love to move with emotion and purpose. These classes focus on expressive choreography, improvisation, and storytelling through movement, helping dancers build both technique and personal style.

Musical Theatre

Dancers combine dance, singing, and acting in this all-in-one performance class. Inspired by Broadway hits like Grease and Hairspray, students learn how to perform confidently while building vocal and stage skills.

Salsa

A fun, rhythmic salsa class for students ready to explore Latin dance styles. Taught in a supportive, inclusive space with a focus on rhythm, steps, and partner patterns (if applicable). Adults welcome!

Pageant & Modeling Class

Led by award-winning coach Paola Ospino, this class prepares students for pageants through modeling, talent development, public speaking, and self-confidence training. Culminates in a studio pageant with the chance to prepare for larger events like Miss South Florida Fair.
