Meet Our Teachers

Lisa Lee grew up taking gymnastics classes but her passion was always dance.  As a young adult, she attended Palm Beach Atlantic University from 2004 – 2011 where she began her training in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Exercise, which she continued throughout the years under local professionals. Lisa has owned and taught at Lisa’s Dance and Exercise Company for over ten years. She also obtained a Masters Degree in Child Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she learned the benefits of getting children involved in exercise at an early age. Lisa began teaching dance classes to give children a fun and creative outlet for their energy. Being able to instruct children in the art of dance and watching them begin to grasp the moves and forms is truly a joy for her. She currently teaches beginner Ballet and Tap to ages 1 1/2 to 8.

Malischa Ogé has been dancing since the age of 5. Her love for dance first blossomed with liturgical dance at her childhood church, and her passion for every dance style only grew from there. She has trained in styles ranging from African dance to modern dance and was a dancer and cheerleader during her high school and college years. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University, where she majored in mass communication and journalism, and minored in dance. She was a part of the dance ensemble at NSU, as well as a dancer for the sports dance team, the Sharkettes. Mali has taught dance styles such as Liturgical, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Ballet and Jazz, to kids, teens and adults for several years as well as volunteering and teaching dance to children at her local church.  She has taught Hip Hop, Modern, Ballet, Tap and Gymnastics at Lisa’s Dance and Exercise for five years.

Pauline Bradford taught Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Lyrical and Cheerleading for two years with KemKids Dance Studio and worked with a private company teaching 3-11 year olds Ballet and Tap and 6-11 year olds Tumbling and Cheerleading. She attended various schools for dance including Bak Middle School and Dreyfoos School of the Arts for 13 years where she learned Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop and Yoga. She also auditioned to become a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader. She volunteers with her church, Christ Fellowship, to help out with their child care program. Pauline teaches Contemporary, Jazz, Acro, Ballet and Tap at Lisa’s Dance and Exercise Company.

Christina Lista began her dance education at the age of three, and joined a competitive dance team at the age of eight. In 2012, she won 1st Place Platinum and the “Magic Dancer” award at LA Dance Magic’s competition in Orlando, receiving a 2-week scholarship to train in Los Angeles, California. In 2014, she was awarded a scholarship at the Joffrey School of Ballet in New York City where she trained for 6 weeks. Christina graduated from Wellington Community High School, where she was a member of their dance company and competitive dance team, while being a member of Vantage Pointe’s competitive dance team. Christina graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors in Health Science for Occupational Therapy and a minor in Disabilities in Society. During her four years at UF, she was a member of Floridance Dance company and served with Dance for Life, a dance therapy program for patients with Parkinson’s Disease. She is committed to working with individuals with disabilities and incorporating the art of dance into therapy. She is also experienced in pointe, lyrical, and hula.  Christina teaches Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Acro at Lisa’s Dance.

 

Annaya Osborne is a graduate of the Maltz Jupiter Theatre Conservatory Performing Arts Professional Training Program where she took 30 hours of dance a week, ranging in Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz and Modern (Horton technique). After graduating, she taught dance at the Maltz, the Boys and Girls Club, and choreographed for Inlet Grove Community High School dancers and cheerleaders. Her professional performance credits include “Caroline Or Change”(Radio 2), “Your Arms Are Too Short to Box with God” (Ensemble) “Hair” (Mary),  “Ragtime” (Sarah’s friend), “A Little Night Music” (Petra), “Little Shop Of Horrors” (Ronnette) and more.  She currently works as a toddler teacher at a local preschool and teaches Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Gymnastics, Salsa and Baccata at Lisa’s Dance and Exercise Company.

 

Tenaja Johnson enjoyed Ballet and Tap as a child and continued her love of dance into her teens, adding Hip Hop, Cheerleading, Jazz and Step.  As a young adult she enrolled in Hip Hop, Adult Ballet and Jazz and Modern at Lisa’s Dance where Lisa noticed how quickly she picked up dances, how beautifully she danced and how professional her technique was and invited her to become a teacher.  Tenaja also has 3 younger sisters which taught her how to work with children.  She trained under Lisa, Malischa and Annaya and now teaches Ballet, Tap and Hip Hop at Lisa’s Dance to ages 5 – 12.

 

Sheneel Stewart began her dance career in Jamaica at 5 years old taking Jazz, Ballet and Contemporary.  She moved to the United States when she was 9, where she added Majorettes and Hip Hop to her dance education.  She also attended Palm Beach Atlantic University (Lisa’s alma madder) and took two years of Jazz there.  She developed a love for children taking care of her niece and nephew.  During the day, Sheneel is a surgical technologist.  She is a new and welcome addition to Lisa’s Dance teaching Ballet and Tap to ages 1 ½ to 4 and subbing for almost every teacher whenever they need it.
